Iranians work 6 days a week. Working 2 jobs is very normal and a lot of people work 18 hours a day. After the US sanctions, the minimum income has decreased to around 60 Euros a month. Still most people don’t receive their meager salaries on time (It is normal for salary payments to be delayed for up to 6 months or even years) and the unofficial unemployment rate is as high as 50%. It is normal in Iran to see engineers with bachelor's or master’s degrees working as motorcycle deliverymen while it is relatively abnormal to see them working in real engineering related jobs.
