At the Committee of Supply debate on 4 March 2020, Second Minister for Education Indranee Rajah spoke about the pilot outreach approach for students who required additional help. The initiative successfully enrolled 87 of the 100 students that were identified for the pilot. She also announced that the Ministry of Education will implement this enhanced outreach approach in all primary schools to support students from all backgrounds and strengthen social mobility.
