New Emotions is another one of the best songs this year. INFINITE absolutely SLAYED! I really love how sleek, smooth, and mature it is (it also has a sensual vibe). But in a way, it still has that INFINITE vibe (just slightly), and the in-sync choreography really helps with that!

Speaking of the choreography, INFINITE is one of those groups where I'm just in awe of how in-sync they are! One of their most iconic moments is the scorpion dance from BTD (Before The Dawn). That legendary move is hands down, one of the best choreo moments I've ever seen! All of INFINITE's dances are incredible, but when I saw the choreography for New Emotions in all of its glory, I was REALLY shook! Just seeing that 99.99% synchronization left me in awe. INFINITE (and SEVENTEEN) are the kings of synchronization!

New Emotions literally has one of the most satisfying anti-drops I've ever heard. During Sungjong and Dongwoo's pre-chorus, dreamy synths come into play. After the short build-up, the song moves into the chorus in the form of a super suave bassline as L/Woohyun's part begins. This song is short, but that entire sequence is my favorite part. An honorable mention would be Sungkyu's part in the first verse. I just couldn't help but snap along!

I am absolutely in love with the vibe that this song has, but I do want INFINITE to revisit their iconic sound. Thanks to production team Sweetune, INFINITE had their signature '80s dance-pop sound with legendary songs like The Chaser, BTD (Before The Dawn), Man In Love, Nothing's Over, and Last Romeo. I hope that happens when they come back again (pun intended)!
