-FULL LINK WILL BE LISTED BELOW - This is video I am showing you how I shaped this abalone shell into a ring setting for a blank bezel ring.
-I used my safety glasses, a hammer, and a piece of thick plastic. I lightly tapped the shell to break it into nice portion for jewelry making.
-Using tracing paper, I trace the inside of the bezel with a pen, and then I cut the shape out.
-Next, I place the cut out shape on the desired area on the abalone shell and trace it with maker.
-I then use my Inland grinder to grind until I meet the line of the marker.
-Now, I use my P220 grit wet/dry sandpaper to try and get the straight edges to matched the bezel setting shape.
-Lastly, I glue on the abalone setting into the blank ring bezel.
