Last night I had a dream that I was walking in the park
It was getting close to dark
The kids were everywhere

I made my way across the town to get myself some grub
All the lights were coming up
The cars were everywhere

Then I woke up inside my bed
This strange rattling in my head
And I'm all alone and I can't sleep

I wish that I could fly away
Come back another day
And things would be the way they were

I wish that I could come to you
And do the things we do
I never thought I'd miss a traffic jam

I hoping that the stories that I'm reading are a lie
I'm trying not to cry
Man, I'm praying we don't die

I'm thinking about the way its gonna feel when we get through
I'll spend the night with all of you
Whatever you want to do

Now I'm alone up on my roof
Where I stash my toilet paper as proof
That the apocalypse was real
