Welcome to Lockdown Jukebox 2020!

Today's awesome request is for Damian, from Liz - sending loads of love to you both at this time, hope you're both ok.

This song is definitely in my top 3 favourite songs ever (it was our first dance song ?) so I am SO GLAD someone kindly requested that I play it!

Now there is no getting around it - the original will ALWAYS be the best, it has Steve Tyler's frankly incredible vocal, a string orchestra, some killer triangle playing and backing vocals to die for - but boy did I enjoy learning and playing this.

And just for an hour as I learnt to play this, I forgot all about this weird situation we're in with lockdowns and restrictions and viruses and it was a really happy place to be. Thank you, music.

Normally, I do the 'Holly Jukebox Challenge' in December every year to raise funds for York Mind. However, now that many of us find our lives flipped turned upside down (as Will Smith said) due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I thought I'd try and spread a little joy from the safety of my front room and bust out some tunes for the charity in Spring/Summer 2020.

York Mind is a small charity based in my hometown of York, UK. Many of the planned fundraising events have been cancelled, meaning that whilst the current situation causes people's mental health to suffer, York Mind will struggle to help everyone who needs support.
