The Piece OF9 is the 12th mini album by SF9. It was released on January 9, 2023 with a song, Puzzle, serving as the album's title track. The group promotes the album with 7 members as Rowoon rejoining the group after hiatus during the previous album, The Wave OF9, and members Youngbin and Inseong being on hiatus for their military service since March 2022. This comeback is also their last with member Rowoon following his departure from the group on September 18, 2023.
The lead track, Puzzle, is a catchy pop song with a punk influence. The song’s lyrics describe the emotions of facing the truth by slowly fitting together one’s puzzle pieces of doubt.
