yes they are actually saying "A+" lol i too thought it was apple but A+ makes more sense in the context of the song "your eyes are always A+" its definitely not "your eyes are always apple", it even says A+ in the official lyrics of the album's photobook (hence the name "Apple Is A" as in an A grade) and notice the way the say apple and A+ the "a" a bit differently
