T-ara, a South Korean female group, released their debut Korean album, Absolute First Album, as their first studio album. On November 27, 2009, Core Contents Media announced its release. Through Absolute First Album, T-ara aimed to present "two different charms," one adopting a "trendy" style and the other leaning toward a "classic" one. The end product is a contemporary dance album with hints of the past. Shinsadong Tiger, Cho Young-soo, Choi Kyu-sung (currently of Black Eyed Pilseung), Wheesung, and "Hitman" Bang all contributed to Absolute First Album.
The album's two lead singles, "Bo Peep Bo Peep" and "Like the First Time," were also big triumphs. It was preceded by the breakthrough single "TTL (Time to Love). T-ara's breakout hit, "Bo Peep Bo Peep," further solidified its status as one of their defining tunes. Positive reviews and a high of number two on the Gaon Chart were achieved by Absolute First Album.
