그룹 #유키스(U-KISS) 멤버이자 배우로 활동 중인 이준영이 재계약을 논의 중이라고 밝혔다.


이준영의 소속사 NH EMG 측은 4일 톱스타뉴스와의 전화 통화에서 “7월에 이준영과 계약 만료가 된 것이 맞다”고 밝혔다.


이어 “코로나19 이슈로 작품들이 계속 밀려 있었다. 작품들을 같이 마무리 짓겠다고 해서 재계약을 논의 중”이라며 “여러 회사에서 연락 온 것은 맞다”고 전했다.





소속사 측은 “지금 작품 두 개를 같이 촬영 중이다. ‘모럴 센스’랑 ‘너의 밤이 되어줄게’를 같이 촬영하고 있는 상황”이라며 “재계약 논의는 작품을 끝낸 후 구체적으로 진행할 예정”이라고 덧붙였다.


앞서 이날 JTBC는 이준영이 소속사 NH EMG와 전속 계약이 만료돼 FA 시장에 나왔다고 단독 보도했다. 이준영은 지난 2014년 유키스의 미니 9집 앨범 ‘MONO SCANDAL’로 데뷔했으며, 지난 2017년 tvN 드라마 ‘부암동 복수자들’을 시작으로 배우로서 활발하게 활동 중이다.

드라마 ‘부암동 복수자들’ 외에 ‘이별이 떠났다’, ‘미스터 기간제’, ‘굿캐스팅’, ‘제발 그 남자 만나지 마요’, ‘이미테이션’ 등에 출연하며 꾸준히 필모그래피를 쌓아온 이준영은 넷플릭스 영화 ‘모럴 센스’에 캐스팅돼 그룹 소녀시대 멤버이자 배우로 활동 중인 서현과 함께 호흡을 맞춘다.


한편 이준영은 지난달 23일 종영한 웹툰 원작 드라마 ‘이미테이션’에서 권력 역을 맡아 열연을 펼쳤다.
